Accelerate Lifeline

Ages a creature of Intelligence 2 or more by up to 1 year/level, set to the nearest month before casting, at a rate of 1 year per turn. A system shock roll is required, and the subject acts at half ability during the change. The reverse, REVERSE LIFELINE, de-ages by up to 1 year/level over twice the time, with a system shock roll to avoid death, and needs an extra component: a cup of pure spring water exposed to Temporal Prime for one subjective day. Reverse risk (p. 65): a cumulative 5% chance per use that the years are ADDED instead, and one failed check reapplies ALL years ever removed by this spell. Not cumulative with other age-reduction magic. The components are polished amber and an ounce of tether beast ichor.
