Description
Splits the flow of time around a temporal disturbance to shield it: DETECT TEMPORAL ANOMALY drops to a 25% base chance, and other detection such as TRUE SEEING or DETECT INVISIBILITY also drops to 25%, with non-initiates failing to understand what they see. It can hide a vortex on a check at -4; a failure destroys the vortex, ages the caster 1d20 years, and permanently costs 1 point of Wisdom. It is popular for hiding slipgates, which requires casting it on both the reality and the Temporal Prime side, though the vortex visual remains (p. 65). The is a glass bulb of vortex spider blood. Not cumulative with itself.
