Sever Lifeline

Cast on Temporal Prime, a silver knife physically cuts the caster's own lifeline at the mist-trail point. He becomes effectively a Temporal Prime native: strands no longer affect him, the ban on doubling his lifeline is lifted so he can meet himself, and LIFE SOUNDING, LIFE TETHER, and ACCELERATE LIFELINE no longer function on him. He no longer ages on Temporal Prime, though he ages normally in reality, and anti-temporal-creature effects, including WESLEY'S TEMPORAL DISJUNCTION, now work against him in reality. He remains killable. The casting causes serious turbulence, with a 20% chance a vortex forms, and only divine intervention reverses it. There is a 10% chance of escaping the Guardians' notice; otherwise they discover it within weeks and try to recruit him (pp. 54, 66). The components are an enchanted silver knife storing a tether and 10,000 gp of diamond dust on the blade.
